Good morning, we are currently overnighting at Susan & Shane's property Green Head. What an amazing friendly, welcoming couple. The spot Shane directed us to was amazing, wish I could post a pic or two.

Thank you for this great initiative. Have got this information from my brother Grant Cooke -Western Australian Working Dogs Association. You were in contact with him after hearing him speak on the radio. We are certainly interested in becoming a member. We have a motorhome and are always on the look out for safe stopovers. Will be in contact.

Susan and Shane are lovely folk who make you feel very welcome.

Fantastic farm stay. Jo and Owen are wonderful hosts. Beautiful property. Well worth a visit you won't be disappointed

Just had our 2nd stay here. The view is lovely, great hosts, Jo and Owen. Really beautiful spot with green grass and plenty to see around the outlying areas. Thanks again, Sue and Rod

Had 12 days at Toms farm stay and it was fabulous. Tom is a great source of knowledge which he will share. So friendly and lots of fun Great campfires. Plenty of room in the paddock with lots of flat areas. Thank you Tom

This is our third visit and absolutely love staying here. Beautiful view of the farm from the sites. Sheep and wheat, beautiful lake with many different species of birds. Thanks Jo and Owen you are great hosts

Intended staying for a couple of nights but ended up staying a week. Jo and Owen were very welcoming and could not have been more helpful. Fantastic views of the property from our site. Interesting towns around the area. Arrived as strangers and left as friends. Thanks Jo and Owen.

Found your site via The Grey Nomads forum - very impressive! We're looking forward to meeting some of your farmers after we finish property-minding in WA in April next year, when we'll be heading east again. Perhaps you'll have some SA farms signed up by then...?? Thanks - Andrea & John

Just spent two wonderful nights at Flagrock. Trina is a wonderful host and her 4 working dogs are an absolute delight. Great to watch them in action working the 38 sheep that are currently on the property. We parked under some beautiful trees which provided excellent shade and have a history of their own being remnant dry rainforest. The views of Mt French to the north and back into the valley to the south are also wonderful. There is a lovely Spring fed creek running through the property and some great walks to be had through a gorge and up over a ridge, it really doesn't get any better! The property is also very special as we were fortunate enough to see 'Koala' in the trees down by the creek. To top it all off Trina also has a business providing chocolate coated dry banana in either milk or dark chocolate to various businesses around Australia, something I can thoroughly recommend you try when staying here! ?? We loved our stay and totally recommend this farmstay to anyone. ??

We have just stayed with Anne and Paul at Plambell. Words can't really describe the experience. We had barely arrived and were invited to share dinner with them. A great opportunity to find out all about their farm. The site was level and tidy and had a magnificent view and huge expanse of sky. It was calving time and while we were there 2 cows needed assistance with the birth. We even managed to witness a birth. For city people like us, this was a very moving experience. The next day we drove down to Starvation Bay, which is about 20 minutes away, and saw the remains of the rabbit proof fence where it meets the Southern Ocean. To finish it off there were home made cakes and coffee before we left. The Road is unsealed, but currently in excellent condition. We only have a lightweight Bailey caravan, but had no trouble at all travelling about 60kph. Check with Anne about the current road conditions as there is also another route you can take. Great place we will be back ,We also will let others Know also. Thanks to the camp hosts Owen & Jenny May 2017 Geoff & Fran

Stayed at Brett & Jo's early Jan and could not wish to meet a friendlier couple along with Brett's dad & Val. Had problems with the wheel on the caravan Brett found the problem and had it fixed in no time. Hope to meet up with them again hope they enjoyed the cruise they went on. Many thanks Keith & Janine

We stayed overnight on 29/10/16 at Bustrdrce, Victoria, beside your house. Allison's company was superb, accommodating, and very welcoming. We were able to get power. We enjoyed the overnight stay, and loved the style of the house and craftmanship of the building and also the animals. The dogs were brilliant. We will definitely stay overnight again sometime. Margaret & Robert Hart (SA)

We have just stayed with Paul & Anne at Plambell and were so warmly welcomed that we just have to let you know what marvellous folks they are. They invited us to share a meal - and you guys cooked the most marvelleous barbque not to mention that Mulberry pie :). I was not well the afternoon we arrived but Anne drove Trev all around the farm and out to Separation Bay sharing their history - made us feel one of the family. Thank you Anne & Paul

We've only managed to stay in two COF farm stays so far while visiting the south west of WA and cannot praise them enough. Gary's was ideally located for sightseeing/visiting the southern areas of Perth or Fremantle. Brett & Jo not only provided perfect siting for sightseeing the SW corner but made us feel almost part of the family. Lovely people that we'll be back to see. Thank you, COF for providing such a magnificent aid to travellers. Darrell & Sandra Hendry

Very nice inexpensive campground in the Margaret river region. Close to town, brewery and other attractions. Owners and camp hosts very helpful and friendly highly recommend. Skip bin, long drop toilet and dump point.

Very nice quiet peaceful farmstay. Great local bird life on working sheep/hay farm. Close to beaches, fishing and winery's. Hosts very friendly and helpful.

After missing a turn off where we had planned to stay the night, we googled to see if there was an Overnight Caravan Farm stay in the vicinity. Turned out we were about 500 metres from the turnoff to Pier Milan Victoria. Our welcome was very friendly, the site very suitable for Big Rigs, with two different levels to park, away from the main road, so super quiet. It was the perfect end to our first day on the road.

We enjoyed an excellent overnight stay recently with Linton and Glennis who we found to be very welcoming and friendly. Our morning walk around the adjoining beautiful Golf Course, with its several lakes, was an absolute pleasure. They provide an excellent venue for an overnight stay and maybe even a round of Golf.

Wonderful hosts and great place to stop.

Love the site you have really put a lot of work in.And it is worth it the site is great easy to navigate and get info.Hopeing to see more farms cause WAhas really got behind it great to see keep up the good work. Regards Jim

We recently stayed for a couple of nights at Nornalup Train and found it to be a delightful place to stop over. Very friendly owners and plenty of animal & bird life including Rex the farm dog ! The camping area is roomy & pretty much level. It is conveniently located near local attractions, beaches etc. We loved it and would certainly go back.

We have just had 2 nights with Peter & Adele at their COF site. The site was great, clean, flat & level. Peter & Adele were very warm and welcoming - great company...... so we're Lucy & Boris the two "guard" dogs who treated us like long lost friends ! We highly recommend a visit to this COF site. P & A have great plans on development. A word of warning, we went by GPS co-ords and should have followed the direction given on the Web page....... would have been much quicker & easier. All good though. Thanks Peter & Adele

We stayed at Thornhill Gunnedah NSW and it would have been nice to stay longer than the one night. Ian and Netta made us feel very welcome and we will stay for longer and learn more of their way of life and help if we can when we return to NSW. Jan & Larry O'Brien

Beautiful sunset, magical stars in a clear night sky. Eco camping at its best. Recommend taking the wildflower tour in season. We tried the Dark Chocolate sandlewood nuts, yum yum.

Recently stayed with Brett and Jo on their farm near Busselton, what a great spot to explore the area, knowing your van is safe. Very friendly people, joined us for a drink and a chat at the end of the day, even though this is their very busy season on the dairy farm. Highly recommend.

Together with another couple we were travelling WA with, we stayed two nights on the Milner farm just out of Busselton. Brett had the camp area beautifully mowed. The site is ideally situated to explore the surrounding district. There is ample wood either side of the camp area and in no time at all a blazing fire gets you warm after a days exploring. Owners Brett and Jo are wonderful people and are do not hesitate to help in any way they can or impart information on local or surrounding areas. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to leave a day earlier than planned.

What a great place to stay for self contained caravans with or without pets. Very quiet, private sites set amongst the olive trees. This is the perfect place to stay when visiting the Margaret River region and just 10 mins drive from the town of MR.

We stayed on Brett and Jo's place for 2 nights so that we could look around the Busselton area. Brett and his boys were very friendly and helpful (Jo was working so we missed her). Our camp spot was lovely with beautiful views. If we'd wanted, there was a fire place and plenty of wood. Thank you so much Brett and Jo.

What an absolutely fabulous place and the hosts, Rex and Jan are great company. Downderry wines were some of the best we have tried anywhere AND they are preservative free. It was freebut we ended up spending afew hu dred dollars on their wine!!! It was really that good. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful spot! We parked in their huuuge paddock with lambing sheep and near the dam. Absolute bliss. Thank you Donna and Robert it was magic.

Highly recommend this beautiful property to stay. We were here for 10 days Janine Smith

Thanks to Brett and Jo and Brett's Dad for a very welcoming stay. Your place was delightful and we enjoyed the drinks and yarns on the front verandah.

Thank you to our friendly hosts, Dave and Raylene, for your warm welcome and wonderful stay at your farm!! Great stay.

The waterwheel that Tony has built is well worth seeing!

After driving the past 3 days it was great to pull in to a large area of solitude and magnificent views. Not sure if Kim is hoping the travellers will get rid of his windrows for him, but the wood is plentiful! It's a short drive up from the road to the honesty box and gate to the paddock overlooking a valley... a wow place.

Stayed at Nornalup , Tony's place, you've just got to have a look at the waterwheel, and of course the shed. Level site, just so quiet, great walks friendly dog rex, Tony's pretty friendly too.

Stayed at Krakatinnie farm . 28 Klms from Wagin. Terrific welcoming people, Dave and Ray. Friendly dog and donkey and baby lambs Had a great night then explored Wagin which has the big ram and an interesting information centre
